Just recieved a new p.c. 512ram, geforce4 etc...So I need to get some decent games to make use of it. My previous p.c was a dinosaur so I have never bothered buying any games in the past. Any reccomendations? I like to shoot things and when they are shot...I like to shoot them some more

lie down and shoot things: Operation flashpoint
run around like your ****'s on fire and shoot things: Quake III
peek round corners and then get shot: half life/counterstrike
shoot things slowly: Max Payne
shoot people into iddy biddy bits: Soldier of Fortune
shoot people whilst shouting, 'Die you **** scum': Return to Castle Wolfenstein

Half Life/Counterstrike.

Why we Scoobynetters even have our own Counter Strike Clan.

Get it, you won't regret it. Provided you have better than 56k modem connection.

current faves at the min :-

championship manager 01/02 - (well i need a footy fix between seasons and world cup

dungeon siege - easy going rpg
jedi knight 2
morrowind - heavy going rpg
soldier of fortune 2 - its ok, dont brelieve the hype tho
medal of honour allied assualt - great game, too short
