Default Can anyone find a better deal?

Been looking around for a new laptop.

Current laptop is a acer 5935g.

Looking at spending around £1,000 and spotted a half decent laptop while checking the Argos site. It was £2,000!

Further investigating I've managed to find the same laptop for nearly half the price on scan.co.uk

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/156-a...in-7-ultimate-

My question is, can the spec be beaten
For the price?

Thanks

Lee

The screen resoloution on that one is poor, for that kind of money you should be getting a full HD LED 1920 x 1080 screen. Keep an eye out on the Dell Outlet as you get the M18X popping up quite a lot for around the money you want to spend.

awesome spec but i dont see screen resolutions and i avoid glare screens
you need to compare gt650 to 460gtx sometimes higher numbers dont mean better
and 17.3 that is desktop
a think 15.6 is max screen and i will be looking for 2.8kg max
i have blue ray but watched only one movie -avatar i dont use even dvd or cd
depends what you after - games , not many laptops could play them in full hd(dont think there is any), when you lower resolution game looks s.hite on higher resolution screen.
