How do you access safe mode in Windows XP. I have a laptop at work and have just installed Panda anti virus. Every time the system boots up it crashes. The cursor moves but nothing appears when I click on the start button or on the desktop shortcuts. When I do control, Alt, Delete the system just hangs.

How do I get panda of this system.

Cheers in advance

1. Start Windows, or if it is running, shut it down and restart it.
2. As soon as the BIOS has finished loading, continually tap the F8 key until the Windows Advanced Options menu appears.
3. Using the cursor keys, scroll down to the appropriate Safe mode and press Enter.
