Battlefield 3 - Best Gun?
I'm just levelling up on BF3, think I'm up to level 24 now.
I generally only use Assault or Engineer.
Is there a BEST gun for each class, or does it not matter too much?
A lot of my friends think the F2000 is the one to use with Assault, I'm currently using the FAMAS or L85A2 which I recently got from the assignments.
With engineer I'm trying the QBZ-95B, again from an assignment.
Is it just opinion really on weapons, or are there some which are amazing compared to other?

I tend to pick one or two depending on distances I will be firing ie based on the map and game mode I'm playing.
I have actually played a lot of TDM recently and am liking it. A) As its generally quick i.e. sub 10 min games and B) I had problems connecting to UK CQ servers.
In TDM I almost always play Assault unless unlocking a specific weapon that Assault doesnt have. Famas is lethal in close quarters due to the rate of fire and the ease in which you can burst by key tapping but sucks at long range. I tried the L85A2 and hated it at first but now I love it with RDS scope, foregrip and suppressor. Its a beast a mid and even long range - I often out snipe the snipers
Think I must have racked up nigh on 1300 kills with it by now. Its a slouch in CQB but just adapt your play.

Repair tool nothing like burning some mo fo up 
On a serious note I would say it depends how good you actually are and how comfortable you get with a gun e.g. playing as support I use the M249 SAW not the best support weapon but the 1 I feel most comfortable with.
