The idea that $100 million is peanuts to any company is absurd. In the great scheme of things, it's not a lot compared to their turnover, but I doubt they would relish 'losing' it at all.

I don't know why Apple pursue this course of action, it just ends up in counter suits and detracts from either party getting on with the business of creating better products for everyone.

It just seems to me they wish to become the next Microsoft, and then everyone will end up hating them anyway and then there will be a backlash

Jobs may be dead, but it would appear his irrational hatred lives on .
