Help choosing Apple laptop for xmas pressie
I've never even used an Apple computer, always had PC's but my g/f really wants something like a mac book but I have no idea where to start.
What are my options and any advice appreciated?

Get the entry level MacBook pro 13" model , that will fit the bill.
If she won't be doing a lot of downloading , get a SSD

If you have an Apple Store / John Lewis / PC World nearby then pop down and have a play with the machines, see which one you think she would like.
