basically ive just got a laptop, after having desktop pc's for nearly 10 years.

now ive got some krk rokit rp5 g2 studio monitor speakers which run via rca from my hercules dj controller as i use virtual dj to have a mess around on.

what i want is though, is to also be able to play music through the monitor speakers from my laptop directly, so i gathered i would need an external soundcard

would rather not go from 3.5mm jack to rca though, so ideally want a card with direct rca outputs, budge being around £60 or so

Have look for Tascam US100(cost around £59 at GAK Brighton),M-Audio Audiophile USB Soundcard these are cheapest.
If you want something better have look for Apogee Duet.

I don't know for making music and DJing using Creative cards is just wrong,due these cards have high latency rate,these cards are for watching movies and gaming.

I would go rather with M-Audio or Tascam,i'm using M-Audio Delta LT10/10 and its just great
