Default Removing temp files

I came across this for removing temp files - the files that seem to be missed by the system tools , disc clean up application.

Hit Windows button and R
enter "%temp%" and click ok
Right click on temp folder
Highlight all and files delete

I have found an immediate speed improvement in all applications and internet

It's Windows. From the command prompt type in the following:
CD \ [Hit Enter]
DEL *.TMP /S [Hit Enter]
DEL ~*.* /S [Hit Enter]
DEL "%TEMP%\*.* /S [Hit Enter]

Or create a batch file of the above on your desktop to run these commands automatically, and/or schedule a Task to run this batch file on a weekly basis. Sorted.

Blimey that's a bit DOS like

I scrolled to the top of the thread thinking it must be a decade old. Windows 7 must do that basic task for you, of course it does.
