Default MP3

Guys

What the best tool for
1. Editing the tag information

2. Modifying the default volume of the mp3?

I have some mp3's that have a really low volume, others have high volumes

Thanks

Hi there

1. For ID3 tag this will help http://www.id3tageditor.com/

2. This will help to gain volume http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/
and here is guide how to use,its simple and free soft http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/20700...our-mp3-files/

I'm using WaveLab and Audacity for editing sound and mastering

If you have few MP3 with different volumes,i'm suspecting you have different bitrate of MP3,if this is case, only one way how to do is re-rip your MP3mto highest possible bitrate(320kbps) or re-rip to FLAC.

If they're both in 192kbps i would use MP3 gain and you will see, what happens.

Soundforge its OK,but WaveLab is nice to work with this and mainly support VST plugins, yes Sound Forge support too,but there is little bit harder use.

Audacity is free and easy to use,i've use this before and probably nicest soft which is available for free.

I'm using few SW,but mainly testing them,i've use before Adobe Soundbooth,Adobe Audition,Sound Forge 10,Cubase and Nuendo,Ableton Live,Pro Tools and later on Logic, but still not sure which one is in my view top for audio editing.
