Default OS X Lion ... 1am / 14th July

For those that care and are up late enough!

I will probably download it tomorrow morning, although think I should get it for free as we only got the Macbook 2 months ago ..

Should only take 20 minutes or so. Just downloaded 600mb of updates to Garageband amongst others so I guess those are updating for Lion.

Ah, so perhaps that is why the app Store has been a bit odd today, I know iTunes Connect was being worked on. I'll grab the installer at work tomorrow.

There are rumors new MBA's and Mini's will be announced today (14th), so perhaps it'll be launched in line with those?

How will this work for licensing?

Is it one per machine? I assume you'll download via the app store?

It is 1 per machine, although if you are of the one-legged, parrot wearing persuasion Apple do not appear to have any checking on whether the OS is legitimate or not ...

When Lion was first announced people seemed to be saying that one purchase would cover you for all devices on the iTune's account. Is that not the case now?

Mmm. Okay. Perhaps wrong. I was told just once. I know with the iPhone you can install applications on all your devices.
