anyone got any experience with these?

i only ask because i jumped into one mid match, didn't know it was a modded lobby as i've never seen one, or been in one in my entire 2 years of playing MW2, and now EVERYTHING for my online gaming on MW2 has been reset to zero

Showing my ignorance here mate but is this xbox or ps3 ?? if 360 will probably be able to help as my young son keeps talking about these modded lobbies even thou have advised him he will end up getting a ban from xbox live if caught being on one.

just let me know if 360 and if so pm me your gamertag and will try get him to sort something out for you !! not sure if you can get exactly back but you had but sure they can alter things back or better than before if thats your thing !!

I have seen loads of modded lobbies on the 360 lately most have been super jump or mega xp lobbies though I have yet to see a derank lobby.

you went into a lobby and the host has de ranked you this is the draw back with modded lobbies all you need to do is speak to some people online and they may get you in one all the people i knew doing it play **** ops now

On ps3 they were all over. The host of that game you joined was a **** because he has the menu that allows him to de-rank anyone or rank them up. I would suggest joing another and asking the host to unlock all for you.

Cheers for the replies guys. I'm on 360. My gamertag is TwIsTeDxSlAyEr. Anyone can add me if they want. I found a modded lobby tonight and jumped to 9th prestige. But I don't want that. I just wanna be back were I was. 2nd prestige level 48. With all my kills back! I've not earnt 10th so I don't wanna jump to it. Reason im only 2nd after 2 years on and off of playing it is because i didnt prestige after I'd gone up to Commander the 1st time round.

Leave it with me mate will speak to the young lad, strangely enough he was complaining that someone had modded all his scores or whatver it is back to zero yesterday as well.

as I say leave it with me and will get him to give you a shout on live if he can help you out. you on most nights ??

Okay thanks mate and sorry about the confusion over your gamertag !! okay seems the young lads game has been infected or whatver it is as once he went online live yesterday into a lobby someone thought it would be nice to corrupt his game, now he only had black and white screen when playing the game. he did phome MS and was advised that he would ahave to phone the game makers themselves ??!!

probably be better off just phoning MS yourself mate and explaining whats happened, from what I can gather they can have full control over your gamer profile and could no doubt restore your settings or as near as to them anyway.

the young lad did say that a guy with a jtagg ?? could put you on a certain level but your time played , things earned etc etc would never be back to what it was.

sorry I could not be off anymore help mate did try but as I say give MS a call and explain and you may find they can restore things back to normal.

free call but be prepared to waitt think he waitting something like 30mins to get thru to them but they were actually very helpful with him even thou they could not actually fix the problem themselves !!!

MS won't touch or have anything to do with it because it goes through Infinity Ward and thier game servers, MS do have full control over my profile, but not game content or anything in game related.

Once again, thank you for trying.

I'll go on the hunt for someone with Jtagg.

Okay quick update the lad contacted the game makers upon being advised by MS and was advised to turn down the brightness control all they way down and then all the way back up again - result screen is more or less back to normal although he did say its not exactly the brightness level it was, its only on this game thou and only on live on this particular account.
think MS will have to get togher with game modders as they did with chipped xbox going on live as from what the lad tells me and what has happened to yourself dave its ruining the whole thing !!
