Try Lycos mate, I have sent many free txt's from there......the person you send txt's to can also reply but I think it costs them to reply to your message.

Ok.....when you reply to a text from Lycos is it cheaper,in general,to reply to the pc,or the persons mobile,(from my mobile-cellnet)or doesn't it matter?

I think it's the same as sending it to another mobile, don't think it's any cheaper to send it to Lycos as it just adds the txt message on the senders bill.
Have a look on lycos anyway, it will explain it on there somewhere as I could be wrong!

Genie is OK, but has experienced loads of System crashes lately. One good point - you can have more than one account for a particular mobile, so there is no limit on the number of messages you can send (although 600 per month is enough for most people)
