Are iPhone's notes transferred when syncing?

As title says really.

Want to transfer my notes from the iphone to the Mac (10.6)

Possible?

I sync my notes with my Apple Mail. In the options in itunes or mobile me you can have it sync notes. So yes they will be carried across when you sync it back
