Default one for the Apple Gurus

I am woking on a project for a leading media company

can you lock down an Ipad -- i.e. can you set a proxy setting in the web browser (obviously this is possible) but deny the user the ability to change it

so the users web access HAS to be thru a proxy, which you can then control his/her access based on websites, times, content etc

on windows you can do it thru permissions/local policy etc

can you do it on a mac?

thanks

James

As Jack linked to: iPhone Configuration Utility (does handle iPad too). You can lock certain aspects down. The app will run on Mac or Windows. I use it a lot at work, but not for lockdown though.
