guess on the sales front though, large corporates are buying BB for their staff to connect to their BES servers, how many companies are buying iphones for their staff. Not a fair comparison.
BB = business communication tool
iphone = multi function cool electronic gadget
each has its place in the market place, all smart phones were not created equal.

I heard today that Android topped all as smart phone sales in q4 2010
i think ;d
BES servers are a pain, when you can do push with pretty much all modern phones with no extra costs really
we ended up scrapping are pretty old blackberrys and bes for iphones and push
and as i refuse to have an iphone i brought myself a Nexus one heh

Yeah, can be believed, i know loads of people converted to blackberry.
If they dip their toe in the water, it's a blackberry. If they dive in it's android. If they sit on the beach admiring each other, it's iphone.

Blackberry are only there cos of the lowest common denominator, the 8520 curve, a peice of **** that has a **** processor, screen res and keyboard but its cheap as chips so all the scrubbers buy one on pay and go so they can tell their scrubber mates they have a blackberry.
8520 has a massive return rate.
