video streaming

Can I ask why you want to stream them ?
Why not just put them up there as .mpgs or .avis or something and let people download them as normal ?
Or are they copyrighted or something so you don't want people to be able to save them?
Bear in mind, unless they're really low quality - people on narrowband (modems) aren't really going to be able to watch them if they're streamed....

think it would be easier for the end user if they were streamed - i.e they dont have to download a complete file just to find out they dont want to watch it after the first few secs, it will also be aimed at ISDN / Broadband users. Thinking of 'live' event streaming too.
just been checking out http://www.headred.tv, they seem quite reasonably priced, not sure how reliable there streaming servers are though.
