Default Mobile Broadband help please..... im new to this

Hi Guys,

My work has had a clamp down on Internet viewing, and as such I can no longer access the likes of Scoobynet from my work PC. So I thought rather than cause a fuss I would buy a Mobile Broadband of some sort.

I have just bought this as it seems a very good deal, but now what do I need to do? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...=hotukdeals-21

My phone is sh!te and I dont think it will take 3G, but I beileve that I can by some kind of harness to run the sim, ie a Dongle or Card to use on my laptop or PC.

I would be happy with a dual sim phone that can handle 3G also?!?

Help.......

Thanks in advance
Rob

From the same advert http://www.amazon.co.uk/Unlocked-Wir..._bxgy_ce_img_b

That will allow you to run your laptop and a wifi enabled phone at the same time.

Cheers Guys for the all the info.

The 3G sin I bought was a steal, 3Mg for £9 for 3 months. I only need it for light browsing, I can still access most pages, but websites that pose a risk have been blocked, one of which is scoobynet. The rest will be obvious such as gambling, banking, gaming, sport etc.

I have requested it to be unlocked, but they said I would need to speak to the MD. However as there is only me in the business out of 750 people that wants Scoobynet I guess I know the answer..

Ive downloaded TOR that Saint offered the link for, but Im unsure what this is and how it works, but will test it later today.

Im going to buy another laptop sometime later this year, so I guess I should look for a sim enabled one.

Tried this today, and it fails to connect to Host.

I have bought a 3G Sim Dongle today, it states there is no software needed, just plug and play. So this might be the answer then, as software install might need admin privileges too

Anyway thanks guys,
Rob
