Found this article listing the servers EA are shutting down in the next few months thought might be of interest to some.

I still have a copy of Fifa 09 I keep for the odd game online, looks like I might as well bin it after this month. Not into replacing the Fifa games every 12 months personally

theres the reason i don't buy EA's games anymore, they shut the servers down to quickly plus they now charge you for online play if your game is registered to a different console, so when your xbox or ps3 breaks down and you get a replacement or you have two different consoles you have to pay to go online again. even my uncle who works for them admits its totally wrong.

What happens if there online only games?
I play several online only games, what would happen if those companys
decided to close the servers? would i be entitled to a refund of my purchase,
