For some reason, if I post an image onto a Bulletin Board such as:
It should work okay, but an exciting picture of my Passat on Pbase.com or Webshot Communities, it will not display the picture, unless I get the url from the properties, look at that url, then it will display on the BB.
Here's an example (it better not work!):
Is this something to do with the location that the image is stored in? Or am I doing something blatently wrong. Or is it a problem on the settings of the Bulletin Board.
I'll post this and see whether or not it works - if it does, it points to the other BB....

Whey, it's worked! I mean showing that it doesn't work.
All I get on the second picture is a little box with a red cross in it.
Bollox - just gone back a page and it is there.
Can anyone else see a loverly snot green Passat, or is it just me because it's in my memory??
Apologies if I'm being thick.

I've removed my temporary internet files and I'm now back to the little box with a red cross - the picture must have been in the temp files/memory.
On the other BB, at a time when I could not see the pics, someone with Broadband could see the pics - so I thought it was to do with the file size - but on creating a tiny JPG, I still got the little box, so doubt it is the amount of info.
Any ideas???

Ooh - what's the gorgeous car? It's my Passat!
I even tried setting up a web page on BTInternet last night, though that had problems too - though your turbosport gallery works fine.
Bloody Computers!
Think it's just a case of finding somewhere compatible.

Some image servers don't seem to work, such as Angelfire.
If you paste the URL into your address bar it works tho, wierd innit ?
Use another uploader or webspace, or just post a link instead
