Default Magic Trackpad

Just picked one of these up whilst iPhone shopping - for someone else - what a great little addition to my ageing iMac, I now have three and four finger gestures in a comfortable little package.

Also picked up some Apple batteries, not as happy with these as I'd assumed that the charger charged 4 at a time, but hey ho.

Some of the chaps at work have the magic trackpad and are raving about it. I've had a quick play and it seems ok, would take me a while to get used to.

What does make me smile is when they realize their wireless keyboards might look nice, but you cannot boot into single user mode as the BT driver doesn't load until a little while into the book sequence and so they come and borrow one of my keyboards.

I can boot into single user mode on mine, might be the delay caused by using rEFIt but I know it works as I just installed Applejack.

I'm getting used to it and like it a lot, bought it mainly for my old Macbook as the trackpad's a bit small.

I'm already doing combo moves on the iMac, mouse for this, pad for that, keyboard for the other without thinking.

It could well be rEFit, thought just read something saying Apple might have addressed it, possibly loading the BT things earlier.

Gotta say, I'm not overly convinced...yet.

No doubt I'll get one, but I'm going to play first.

I didn't think I'd like one, but was in the Apple store and it was shiney. No doubt I'll like it even more with my MacBook, two trackpads must be better than one.
