Printer being Strange canon ip2600 black comes out brown
Hi my printer was working great but in the last 2 days. The blacks have been coming out brownish.
I've refilled the inks. When I print out in word the letters are black or print on normal paper. So it cant be low black ink. Also print test pages are fine.
My colour profile is on auto CNBJPRN3,
Ive got windows xp pro.
So it seems pictures it auto using browns no blacks. You can see it must mix the red, yellow, blue as the dark colours are very dark brown or green.
I cant find help on google about it.
The drivers are updated.
Could it be the paper? Using gloss.
I have to wipe the ink from under the cartrages before printing.

Black ink = black print. Usually if 'black' comes out brown its because the printer is mixing colours to make black print. Some early colour printers used to do this; where you could only install either a black or a colour cartridge.
