Is there a windows based prog like time machine?
Got a new machine from work and despite backing up all my stuff, its taken hours to restore everything to get me operational again.
Is there a wintel similar prog to Time machine that I can just point it to my network share and let it back up to there?
I can't be going through this again if it has to be rebuilt at any stage.

Acronis True Image 2010 does this but at a cost
Acronis Nonstop Backup™ automatically creates incremental backups every five minutes allowing users to roll back their system, files, and folders to any point in time in the past.

Not sure of any free ones sorry

With my Netgear NAS I got NTI Shadow which instantly backs up any changed files. Not sure whether it would do a full system image though (I'm sure it would).
It was free with my ReadyNAS (which I returned in the end and went for the more basic Stora NAS but the program still works with it. Wish I'd taken a copy of the CD now
