How are you meant to test on a device when you cannot get one? My friend has this to say and I agree with him.

I don't think we've seen the wifi issue on the iPads at work, well, perhaps maybe once. We also have places in the office where there is seriously sketchy reception and it doesn't kill things.

As a consumer I don't mind, beta testing on Americans is fine by me. But I can see it being a pain in the butt for developers, the simulator not being accurate is awful.
