Interesting article here, maybe shedding some light on the real reason Apple are shutting out Flash and Adobe

Again, if this is the case, then that is a truly inspired move on Apple's part.
Sadly, there will be a great many doubters amongst the population, however, time will tell.

It reminds me of that keynote speech that Jobs did years ago when they announced the move from PPC to Intel and how they had been keeping it under wraps for nearly 5 years !!
There was even a special building on the campus that had been testing it eady for the move..

I can't see them bothering going to court, bit of foot stomping I think. Adobe didn't get an invite to the iParty and had already bought a new dress.

I wish apple would either resolve its differences / issues with adobe, or grow up and come to the party.
Flash & PDF files / applications are almost as universal as http & excel,
despite what your "blinkered" view of flash in the WWW is Jack, it restricts
what can be accessed via apples interpritation of the web.
If i recall it cost them a rap on the knuckles from the ASA , as there
advertising was misleading regarding the accessibility of the web from the
iPPP.
Why are apple so worried about "people" having access to the " OS
system"???
99.9% probably couldn't give a toss, considering that to access anything
on the iPPP needs an app, to which 95% wouldn't have any idea how to
write/ code.

Flash is unnecessary Mart, why bother adding an a layer to everything, browsers have moved on and are now capable of displaying everything that flash can on their own. It's going to die so why start supporting it now. I don't miss the crappy adverts that make up 90% of Flash content.
PDF's are supported on the iPhone and iPad, if that was taken away then I'd be moaning.
