Hey,
I have just bought a new sony vaio laptop and was wanting to use mircosoft work for a doucment. When i opened it asked for a key. I know i must have to buy the product key but does anyone know how i can get a key free of charge or if theres anyway round it.

Try openoffice instead, it's just as good and you don't have to mug old grannies to get it free.

i did same just got a netbook and it asked me for it ,robbing barstewards thought it would of been free you get 25 free goes

Yeah i was hoping that someone would have a key to get round it, its not that i use it alot but i want to have it when i do need it, nice to have

Free keys would be pirate keys, and that is illegal - we don't discuss that here.

Two alternatives;

If you know someone with a ".ac.uk" email address get a discounted Student edition (for example: http://www.microsoft.com/student/dis...k/default.aspx there are other places that you can get this )

or as mentioned above; Openoffice (free)
