In the best tradition of the BBS I'm going to rubbish this game, only my opinion counts.
It's crap. Just random button pushing, though nice graphics. Swapped it for another game after having played for 15mins. To be honest I preferred playing the original Tekken on PSone.

I know what chuckster is getting at. A complete novice and pick up this game, bash away at the keyboard and actually get through levels or beat player 2, which is a little frustrating - I remember this about 12 months ago playing it on my Dreamcast.

I found that with Tekken Tag as well. I still think Street fighter 2 is the best fighting game. Mind you I love the lesbian action you can get in Dead or Alive 3

Daz & Chuck,
You IGNORANT pair of gimps!!!!!!

You can pick up ANY beat-em up and mash the buttons to win!!!! The art of ANY beat-em up is to pull the moves off PROPERLY. Try playing against somebody that knows ALL THE MOVES. You will get mashed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pair of planks!!!!!

Regards,
Shaun.

Shaun, actually thats not true at all.

Virtua Fighter will suss you out straight away if you go in all guns blazing (whacking random keys)

I bloody hate it when a friend who's never played Tekken in his life before nails me by hitting a flurry pf random keys!! Its NOT the same for all fighters.

Actually ShenMue2 is a great example of how to do it properly - you're told before each fight against the master of their respective styles how to deal with the style and hints as to how to overcome them. To go in all guns blazing would just lose time and time again.

Daz,

Virtua Fighter's AI is not that advanced, so don't even use that slight ***** in the chain as an excuse. I can still beat VF4 without knowing the "proper" moves and combo's!!!!!!! I actually played the arcade machine for the 1st time about 2 weeks ago, and considering I have only played my PS2 version a few times, I still managed to get through to DURAL on my first credit. Considering I don't the proper moves in VF4, I consider that a good example of button bashing!!!

Regards,
Shaun.

Allo Shaun, long time no chat, nice to see you too!
To be honest it was part of a bundle, I've never liked fighting games so it was always gonna be swapped. LOL
Just wanted some banter

You know what I mean Shaun - some games you can wade in a destroy stuff - other they penalise you for it. You must know what Chuckster is on about.

There you are with your fantastic new fighting game which you've mastered over a period of months and you coyly ask your novice friend to step up and take a bashing. He whacks every button in site and knocks you out in an embarassing 10 seconds, DoH!

Shaun - you played SHenMueII yet ? Its EVEN better than the first. Just finished it - bloody fantastic, and loads of martial arts stuff.

Chuck,
No probs mate....you know where to come for more insults!!!

Daz,
I know what you mean, but you can't really expect me to EVER agree with you on anything!!!!

I have had Shenmue II for several months now, but havent really had chance to get stuck into it.

Regards,
Shaun.
