Default Converting .3gp files

Any recommended solutions for Mac or Windoze please?

There are a lot of options - I am happy to pay a moderate amount however don't want to get a turkey.

Free options considered!!

Cheers,

Trout

Handbrake might do it for you.

It's a good thought - I use Handbrake for everything - however it would not recognise the .3gp file type - it said invalid source.

QT X plays it but will not save it in another format (like QT Pro 7 would).

Can you plug in a QT Pro serial number into QT X? I have a feeling you can't though. I do know you can install QT7 from the SL install discs and then enter a QT7 serial number (not sure if QT7 replaces QTX or runs alongside it)

QT7 is offered as a 'utility' so I am guessing they will run side by side!

QTX does not come as Pro it is designed to replace both - although that doesn't work for me!
