Default Gaming Laptops

Hey guys,
I am looking for some advice. I want to get a laptop in the very near future and want a decent one for a decent price. As i am a big fan of football manager series, i want a laptop that can run this without a problem. Looking to spend around £300 to £500. I was wondering if just a standard 3gb with 250 ram would be ok with a graphics card. Can you please keep me right.

Thanks

I am using a £350 Toshiba laptop, 3gb ddr2 800 ram, with an ATI Radeon 3100 video card, for WOW, and its ok for this game, i think it would run most low demand games, might struggle with games like MW2 though!, this graphics card is quite a basic one, but not bad at all.
model is a satellite L300D-13S.

The graphics card is key for a gaming laptop. RAM can be upgraded cheaply and so can the hdd. Mine is a Acer 6935G but its over your budget at £800

Also get one with an Intel processor NOT an AMD one as the AMD processors get too hot for laptops.

My brother plays Football manager and he's got a 3-4 year old Dell, entry-level spec. It runs fine. No need for anything beefy.

Dell's XPS range are well specified for this role. Quality PC components at a sensible price.

Not worth spending too much to be honest as to keep on top of the PC gaming market, you'd need to upgrade every 2 months lol.

My 3 year old XPS still runs most of today's games without complaint.
