Downloading video camera video's to a computer
My dad has been trying for weeks to get the videos of our camera onto the computer. The camera is an old school one that records onto a tape, but its one of the first video cameras that went slightly digital, for example it has a built in memory card slot for digital camera pics. it has a firewire cable link which can be linked to the computer, but then nothing reckognizes it on our pc,
Does anybody know how i can record the videos onto the computer?

The make and model of camera would help a lot. You should just be able to connect it to the computer via firewire. Also, what operating system are you using (XP, Vista etc)?
