Smile CoCreateInstance Failed ???

I am trying to load Samsung New PC Studio from the disc supplied with my new phone. The wizard installs everything & says "finished" but when you click to start it you get the thread title in an error box.

I uninstalled it & downloaded the version from Samsung's support site which does exactly the same thing.

I am running XP & have not had download problems before. Any idea what is going wrong & how to get this to load?

Cheers.

Have you got any old versions of the PC studio installed? If you have, try uninstalling them and trying to install the new one again :P

Sound like an activeX/COM issue.

Make sure all drivers/dll's have been removed and try reinstalling

Thanks for the replies guys. I will give it a go.

Apparantly the supplied disc is known to have some "issues" according to P4U.
