Had two red light error and got fixed at local shop as was just out of warrranty, now 2 months later getting 3 red lights and console wont work at all.

I have previously sent a broken box back with no seal and got it replaced. Anyone know if m$ actually open the box and check or just replace?

 

They check, some slip through the net, but most don't, if it has been flashed you have no chance tbh.

 

It won't cost you anything to find out, so worth sending back anyway.

 

It's pretty easy to reflash before sending back.

I knew it would invalidate the warranty getting it fixed by a third party but what the hell, worth a try sending it back I suppose.
