Default Secure connection to Work Network problem

Right trying to setup a secure connection to my work network from home.

First server which is running Microsoft Small Business Server 2008 works fine no problems.

But if I try and do the same to the other server which is running 2003 I get the following error:

"No network provider accepted the given network path"

Laptop is running XP. Strange thing is I can ping the server successfully.

Any ideas?
