Default fuzzy screen

hi all, just turned my pc on and the screen has gone all fuzzy..i can just about make out the writing... its not the monitor because there is a notice that pops up sayin no signal just before the pc fires up... soon as the pc starts to load up after start up it goes all fuzzy like interference, one side of the screen is worse than the other

anyone any ideas

GFX card on its way out, my sister had the same problem with her PC not long ago. New graphics card sorted it out

try the basics first, you should be able to push an auto button or reset to factory on the monitor, this often recalibrates the screen and you will be able to see again.

If it is the graphics card :

Just buy one and put it in the computer!!!

The card will only go in one way mate, plug the monitor cable in to it and then power the machine on.

The machine will come up with some really sketchy display (normally bigger than most with not many colours) but this does depend on your version of windows and the cards it has supported.

Insert CD that came with Graphics card (it should auto run) install drivers

Taaa daaa No problem with the display, don't pay some dipstick to install it for you!
