Random Reboots - Vista 64bit
Hi all
Recently my Vista installation has become increasingly flakey.
I'm suffering random restarts, no BSOD, just blanks and then reboots. No dump file is saved either.
Nothing much shows in Event Viewer.
I've been playing with o/c but put back to standard and still doing it.
I've changed the memory for known good memory - still doing it.
I've unchecked auto reboot in the advanced system menu, but the reboots are just the same, don't get any messages.
I can pretty much cause the reboot now if I open a lot of tabs in IE in quick succession....
Any ideas on what to look at or try next?

could be dodgy software/device driver invoking patchguard
the 64 bit version implements patch guard kernal protection
any device driver or virus scanner that atempts to write to the kernel will cause the PC to reboot or BSOD
