Default similar to iLO but for desktop?

is there such thing similar to iLO where if a desktop PC hang or crash, i can still reboot/power cycle/remote control it?

iLO is a stand alone system as you proberbly know with it's power supply etc, can't say I have ever seen anything like that for a desk top.

The cleaners will only go and turn it off

All our servers have iLO supplied by HP, god knows how much it costs though, we have 6 data centres with upwards of 10000 servers.

Desktops running the Intel vPro or the AMD equivalent will give (some of) that functionality

yeah, i checked the intel vPro thing but our desktop (HP xw workstation series) doesnt support it!

IP KVM & IP PDU or buy a server for a desktop!

are you sure most HP's purchased in the last 2/3 years do
