Wel, dont contact Sony repair centres, they cant help lol
My nephew has a Viao, HK/worldwide model.
its fubarred the backlight... my brother in law lives in OZ, and popped into
the Sony repair centre, which is a couple of blocks away...
wait for this...
They need his backup/restore DVD before they can start work...
upon explaining it was purchased almost 3 years ago in HK on an
international warranty..... deaf ears.....
