Default iPod Touch won't connect via Bluetooth

I keep trying to connect with my daughters iPod Touch via Blue tooth , I have the 16g , she as the 8g. It just doesn't want to work for some reason

Although I did get it to pair with my Samsung phone, So I know the Blue tooth part works , Both iPods have the latest 3.0 update.

Any ideas ? Had a quick Google but haven't come up with anything yet.

How do you mean connect? What is it you want to achieve?

I think the Bluetooth only allows you to connect to speakers & headphones. I use it with my bathroom speaker it's very handy ! I don't think you can use it to transfer songs.

By connect I mean pairing with another Blutooth device , The way I read it and understood ,You can pair two iPod Touch's and play games via Bluetooth.

I know the Bluetooth is working as I can pair it with my phone and there are games that use the Bluetooth (Flick Fishing is one ) But as I said the the 2 iPods just wont pair up with each other.

Have a read of this support document.

What generation of iPods do you have? From reading that document the peer-to-peer feature for Bluetooth only works if the iPods are 2nd Generation models.
