Help with 2x IPOD nano's on the same PC!
Me and the other half both have our own IPOD nano's now but we only use one computer.
We have been pulling our hair out trying to get each IPOD with its own music. I am not into Take That and she is not into Prodigy!!!
We have tried following the Instructions on the Apple website to no avail.
Can anyone help us with step-by-step instructions (ie an idiots guide) in how to do this.
Thanks to anyone who can help......

Two choices;
1) Two separate accounts. This will mean each user has their own completely separate iTunes Libraries. The disadvantage here is if you have an album both of you want, you'll have two copies on disk for the two accounts.
2) One account, set iTunes to manual sync. Advantage is no duplication of albums on disk, disadvantage, if you can call it that, is that there won't be an auto-sync, you'll have to manually add items to the iPod, but I don't see that as a massive problem as it allows you complete control over what you put on your iPod.

Guys,
Thanks for your replies. My issue is that I can get the CD into the Itunes library but can't work out how to then get our Ipods. They are both manually synced and the usual 'click & drag' nor Cut & Paste work.
What am I doing wrong ?

Your going about it the long way leave auto sync on. On your sync settings choose playlist only create a playlist for yours and a other for your missis.
Drag the music you want into either your playlist or hers.
So basically your only syncing the playlist not all the ticked music

Antc is spot on.
We have 4 ipods here all running off the same PC.
Each has it's own name (you name it when you first set it up, but can rename it via itunes). Each then syncs from a different play list (choose where you want the ipod to synch from in its own settings - when it appears in itunes).
No need for different user accounts or anything.
Good luck
