Default adding a 2nd monitor

I've ran with a pair of screens in the past but both were plugged into a single gfx card.

The scenario I've been presented with is , this time it's a Dell machine with intel graphics hardware (integrated with mobo)

My question is - is it straightforward enough to add a £30 gfx card and run a 2nd monitor off that ?

Default

sorted - purchased a PCI graphics card (no agp or pci-e) with 2 outputs. As for the existing graphics hardware - I'll switch it off in the BIOS
