I often fall foul of just buying games that seem to be in fashion, those that get 9/10 in a review. What games did you try regardless of review and still quite enjoy? I've seen quite a few on deals like 2 for £30 and wondered if any were worth trying. I've a 360 but suggest any for any format.

I'll start with Army of Two. I picked this up for the 360 last week new for £10 (HMV) and love it. I'm a big fan of co-op shooters and so far it seems to be a mix of Vegas and COD4 with a bit of Time Crisis thrown in

I also liked the Darkness although those levels in Hell were a right pain in the ****!

Loved Army of Two, i finished it three times IIRC

I cant think of any others at the moment, i was loving the darkness until the hell levels popped up and i quickly got shot of it, bought it for £5 on special, traded it in a few days later and it was worth £1 pmsl!

Tomb Raider Legends and the "new" one was pretty good - never really liked these games so was quite surprised when I played it.

I bought Rainbow 6 Vegas on a whim and totally loved it, never player that sort of shooter before but I was so addicted to it. Then came Vegas 2 and more hundreds of wasted hours... R6V wasn't so bad as when you reached Elite that was it, with R6V2 and 99 levels of Elite, it just becomes endless and yet still so addictive.
