win 2k to xp legally? on P4 1.7ghz
as title really,
Just updating an "older pc" have picked up a 1gb mem to replace the 256mb,and installed new network card, so works on talktalk etc also put Avast on, but found you can't use picasa with Win 2k. So any hints on legal upgrade?

As above - cheap PC on eBay with COA (certificate of authenticity) for XP
Also check with your work - employee's can be covered by the license agreement to have XP installed on home PC's. In my place we licensed to have any OS, Office and NAV amongst others.
