OE 6 Recovery of Mailbox
The Missus, God bless her, deleted an OE6 Mailbox in error!
The DBX file isn't in the recycle bin, but the .bak file from the last 'tidy up' is.
I have: rt-clicked + 'restore' on the .bak file. .bak disappeared but no recovery
Ihave : cut the .bak, and pasted to the (correct) OE6 data folder, renamed to .dbx - no recovery
I have tried to 'import' the .dbx file from a separate location (desktop) - OE6 says "no messages exist on Desktop'
Subsequent to these above I've created a "new" mailbox with the exact name of the .dbx file in case (as I suspect) there's a problem with the Folder.dbx file as a consequence of the original deletion. No luck there!
I'm not courageous enough to try "Restore" on the "Folders.bak" file of the last (same) clean-up date
Last gasp...... anyone??
Regards to all
