Default 1 for the website experts

I'm confused, and the problem is pishing me off royally.

Before I switched hosts, I could view sub directorys on my webiste eg: www.mysite.com/stuff

Now having switched hosts (my old hosts ceased service) if I go to view a sub dir all I get is error 404 page cannot be found.

If I put in the full url of the file, I get the prompt to save etc.

Anyone got any ideas whats up. I have a sub dir full of work stuff(usefull little apps) I and my colleagues use when on customers sites commisioning systems.

Are you sure it's a 404 and not 403?
I'd expect a 403 if browsing has been disabled.

You can get a little php script that will list the contents for you to get round it, I use one for my image dump, let me know if you want a copy.

Nope deffo 404

Not Found
The requested URL /work/ was not found on this server.

This is getting annoying. Its not a major thing, just means 4 people don't have to remember whats up there!

Yes please Hank

Oh, might be 404 if there's no index.htm/.html/.php file in there.

Drop me a mail and I'll attach it back with instructions.
