I just downloaded it and isn't as bad as i was expecting so thumbs up from me.This game is like Ace Combat with cockpit view etc.You can choose your target via the triangle button.The game doesn't suffer framerate probs or any glitches.Parts of the scenery is lush but other parts seem to be from an arcade flight sim such as the sea.The dogfights are fast ,explosive and spectacular in the easiest mode, so maybe alot harder in other modes.Leave your thoughts here if you download it.

downloaded it as well and have been playing it.... Game is fast paced and looks fantastic! the imagary was taken from somethig like google maps s not does it look bloody great it is realistic, everything is in place.

With assist mode on the game is easy to play, it's like playing afterburner mixed with FA18 the early days. In none assist mode it is great fun to play and you see more of what's going on, get more in to it.

I love this game and have pre-ordered it (found amazon are doing it for 34.99)

Had a go and quite liked it. Like Stealth said, you can weigh straight in and kill things which is good in this kind of thing and then get more involved later. Visuals are great, buzzed Jesus a few times
Mrs got a lovefilm token for christmas so it's gone on the list, not committing to buying yet but certainly a possible at the mo.

Having done some more, not so keen on the non assisted mode as I don't like the views, prefer the immersion of being in the cockpit than looking at eye candy manoeuvres.

Downloaded last night and had a quick blast through the training bit. Seems pretty cool and I like the cannon sound lol. Not sure about the assisted bit as seems a bit random when manouvering. Will give it some more time tonight.

A lot of them seem to get a bit carried away, I had something like - "there's one bogey left man, I got your six, pull high into zone four and peel off, I'll break left"

Had this ordered when it came out and can't stop playing it..... Fantastic game... Online play is great, Team Death match is funny as hell!!

there is an option under Audio I think to stop the chat!

the assisted mode off option is far better to fly whe nyou have pro mode on as you an actually roll the plane etc which you can't in assist mode off/pro mode off.

Played the demo, it's not bad.

For those that own the full game.....does it get a bit boring after a while doing the same stuff or are the missions varied?

Pretty varied (as varied as shooting things gets) but it's online where it comes to life, much like burnout.

i have the 360 version, i thought the missions were pretty varied considering you are just doing the same stuff over and over (ie shooting stuff)

the last mission in the canyon was a bit crap i thought!

finished the campaign 3 times now as i did it again over the past few days with my mate who had just bought the game, hopefully some half decent DLC comes out (suspect that some will, the main game seams a bit "light" on content)
