Default Internet running slow when scrolling down the page

As title, I've formatted the HD last night and started again.

Internet Explorer is coming up with error messages and closing within about 30 secs. I managed to download mozilla but although its not closing it is running very slow when you want to scroll down the page of the internet.

Anyone got any ideas?

Many thanks

Tim

I had something similar

I downloaded and scanned my system with:
super antispyware (good)
malwarebytes (very good)

I then switched to google chrome, which is miles faster.

If it is XP then download all updates, and see how you go from there

Its basically the Error message that comes up when programs have to close:

I tried copying the error message but it wouldn't let me.

It seems as Itunes is running a bit slow as well as its only copying an album over at 1.2 speed from the cd drive. It usually runs well, it a duo core 1.86ghz with 2gig ram and usually runs really well.

Have you downloaded/installed all the motherboard drivers?

When the error message comes up again, click CTRL + PRTSCN on the keyboard, then open Paint and paste, then upload the screen shot.
