Its one of the (very very) few commercial car PC front ends...

I have tried quite a few front ends. Personally i like digital dash v5.

This is mine being bench tested.

Alot of people use FreeICE too. Road Runner is another one to look at.

I guess its a case of what you prefer.

Having started out with MediaCar and MediaPC in 2003, I was going to use Road Runner (as its an update of MediaCar), but Im pretty sure that Im going to continue with Centrafuse now. Its rock solid, but Im not used to a completely integrated application: usually theyre skinned front ends... The built in OBDII feature is spot on, but it wont be much use with my early eighties Bosche DME...

I was expecting to have to install everything and then control it through a front end, but Centrafuse has it all there. Originally I got TomTom V5 for CE working on the EPIA running a Microsoft development emulator: Id quite like to do this agin and have it as an option off the front end (its an integrated application really, not a front end), or maybe even through one of the configurable unused buttons.

Sygic Drive seems to work well. Havent played with it for a while so things might have changed.
