Default getting rid of igoogle !!

Is there any way of getting rid of iGoogle

I type in Google and I get a page full off crud

Top right, 'Classic home'. Or remove the crud and put something you like on there.

IGoogle is brilliant, add stuff that is relevant to you and it makes a great Home Page

PS How can I get rid of all the reminders for unregistered software that pop up and fill the screen on Vista start up !!!!!

I'd normally go for MSconfig but does Vista have this ??
