AOL arghhhh!
For a few months now I've had a speed problem with AOL.
All day virtually everyday 6.5 meg no probs.
But come 5 pm down to 0.1-0.3 meg and it is crap.
Now I've been with AOL for 8 years without trouble but this is stupid. Their tech says to check the router and software? what, to see if it thinks it's a clock
Am I the only one ? It might be time for a change.

Probably throttling you
i had same problem, fine uptil about 6, then speed was fine again after 11
It stopped happening to me a few months ago though. Are you a heavy downloader?
Iv been wanting to get rid for ages but not many other ISPs are available from my exchange.
Few that are cost a fortune & have download limits.

I got capped a while back where my speed would drop at 6pm-11pm
After may phone calls/new router & the " Im leaving you " speech
...
It was all fine also got it down to £6.99pm unlimited
Still think thay have gone cr@p since the take over
