Default Printer recommendations

I'm after a new printer, mainly want to use it to print out photo's. Having the ability to photocopy would be handy though.

Any particular recommendations from the scoobynet knowledgebase?

I've seen some of the Canon Pixma printers produce stunning photo prints.... haven't seen any output from the multi-function ones though.

You can say that again. Mum has a HP all in one... The driver for XP is a 1.3GB file that claimed it needs something like 3GB of disk space installed. Crackers.

If you have an ebay account you should look at the Canon outlet store, it has some top bargains. Everything comes with a full Canon UK 12 month warranty.

eBay.co.uk Shop - Canon Outlet: Canon Printers: Canon Outlet PIXMA MX300 Refurbished, Canon Outlet SELPHY CP740 Refurbished

Yep currently own A Multi-function Canon MP600R printer and it's a cracking piece of kit, which has a built in scanner and 150 sheet paper tray as well as the ability to print on prinatble DVD/CDs. The Networking function (Has RJ-45 and Wireless) has come in handy for printing from other PC's etc.. The Gadget Show did some tests on printers recently and the Canon MP630 came out on top, I think this is the replacement model to mine.
