Put 'invalid block address nero' into Google - lots of hits. But this may help in particular ... FAQ: The burning with Nero failed - some clues to why - Digital Video Forums
Also, from another forum ' ... In a follow up to this I have reinstalled XP and discovered that one fix for XP was an issue with the way the program sees recordable drives. As soon as the update was installed the problem was fixed. My recommendation is to reinstall xp on a formatted drive to weed out any memory problems and get the updates (by the way I did not go back to SP2 as there seemed to be issues there too). .... '. So, is your copy of XP or Vista up to date with patches?

Have updated all the patches within xp and am now in the process off sifting thru the many pages off related info found within google - sorry should have looked there first- to be honest in all the years off using nero have never actually came across this particular problem before.

Well according to the error message you were attempting to burn @ 16x speed. Does the disc you are using be burnt at this speed? Have you tried lowering the burn speed in Nero?
The other thing to try is a firmware update to the DVD burner you are using from the manufacturers website as this also adds media compatibility. For example if you are using a new brand/brand of recordable media the burner isn't recognising correctly.
